Wooden Tableware Care Guide

Our wooden tableware items are finished with beeswax and shea oil, both of which are non-toxic and edible. They are further polished with a cooking oil on occasion. To care for these items:

• Hand wash with mild soap, rinse thoroughly
• Do not soak/immerse in water
• Dry immediately with a soft cloth/towel
• Place to dry completely in a cool, dry open place
• Keep away from heat
• Do not use in microwave
• Do not wash in dishwasher
• Occasionally apply an edible oil to maintain the grain glow e.g. sunflower, shea, coconut, or olive oil
